Leading worship through music have seemingly always been part of my ministry but I still remember the time when I realised that I could participate in leading and also be worshipping at the same time – very special and wonderfully liberating.

I am also looking forward to it because being part of any service at this time of year is special, there is an expectancy, a willingness to engage and renewed hope. I also remember the years when I didn’t want to be part of advent through difficult circumstances and I pray for the people in that position now more than I can explain. The two situations go hand in hand, just as surely as the poverty and the sovereignty of the birth in Bethlehem.
Today I had one of my favourite family Saturdays at the same time some one had one of their least favourite Saturdays, let the peace of Christ be in both…
